iOS 4.2 for iPad changes the switch on the side from a screen orientation lock to a mute switch. A 9to5Mac reader, Robert, contacted Steve Jobs asking if the change was permanent.

I like this better, dot forget we should still get screen lock in the multitasking menu like on iPhone 4
