Photo Geocoding Aolution Adds EveryTrail Publishin

Houdah Software has announced the release and immediate availability of HoudahGeo 2.6, the premiere photo geocoding solution for the Mac. HoudahGeo is tightly integrated with iPhoto'09 and Aperture Places. It offers a myriad of ways to geocode and publish photos. The latest of which is geocoding from iPhone reference photos.

HoudahGeo 2.6 has adds EveryTrail publishing. HoudahGeo projects may now be published as trips on EveryTrail. On EveryTrail trips are presented in an attractive way with a map showing photos and travelled track when available. EveryTrail.com may also show the photos as a slideshow overlaid on the trip map.

HoudahGeo may also write EXIF and XMP geotags to JPEG, RAW and XMP files. HoudahGeo features full integration with iPhoto'09 & Aperture 3. Upon geotagging photos with EXIF & XMP tags, HoudahGeo may notify iPhoto / Aperture that new metadata is available. This allows for the Places database to immediately refresh.

HoudahGeo is also able to access iPhoto, Aperture & Lightroom databases without opening the actual applications. Thus iPhoto and Aperture users may now handle the whole geocoding workflow within HoudahGeo and still find their Places database to be up-to-date.

HoudahGeo may also publish projects to Google Earth and upload photos to Flickr and Locr.

Pricing and Availability:
HoudahSpot 2.6 is priced at $30 (USD) for a single-user license. It is a free upgrade for all registered HoudahGeo 1.x and 2.x customers.
