Steve Jobs has reportedly confirmed the discontinuation of iWeb to a concerned customer, according to MacRumors. The customer emailed Jobs to inquire about the future of iWeb and MobileMe and received the response below. The site has examined the email headers and believes them to be legitimate.

I have invested a lot of time and effort and the thought of re-training sucks more than mobileme ever did.

This is definitely an unfortunately development for those who use MobileMe for web hosting. If we hear any official confirmation from Apple we'll let you know!
