BackWORDs Text-to-Speech

Davander Mobile Corporation has launched their latest app for the iPhone, iPod and iPad platform - BackWORDs Text-to-Speech. This new word game app allows kids of all ages to type in text and have the app speak the text backwards.

Hours of giggles, chuckles and occasional gales of laughter are the standard result of playing with this app. Users will have barrels of fun, playing back the results in one of four voices and customizing the pitch, speed, and warble. The app is targeted at the young at heart who enjoy the sound of words and hearing them in new and amusing ways, basically everyone who could use a smile.

Selecting friends names to hear backwards from the Apple's built-in Contacts app is quick and easy. To keep data entry to a minimum, the app keeps a history of up to 100 of the most recent phrases. Sharing the fun of the app with people who don't have an iPhone can be done quickly and easily by sending an email with the push of a button. A message is created with a WAV file of the backwards speech attached.

Beta testers commented on how much fun the app was. One user, Kathryn Alexander commented "I haven't had this much fun since I was a kid. We used to memorize our names backwards, but this brings a whole new dimension to the game. Hearing someone's name backward never ceases to bring a chuckle to even the most serious people."

Pricing and Availability:
BackWORDs Text to Speech 1.0 is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Games category.
